I read 0 today. I can see the potential for this book. Notice I said potential I think it has a while to go, but good first start.

 

Enjoyed the art very sleek. Not as gory as Crossed, but about as much as I can handle.

 

I think the writer tried a little too much to jam too much into the first issue. I think a second read will help me more.

 

I like the set up and I LOVE his 2 page story at the end of how he wrote it. You can feel his passion which will make me stay with the book. So many writers dont do that anymore. I was hooked when I read that in the previews.

 

All the elements are there for a good story. We survived hidden for 50 years now want to come out kinda deal.

 

John Byrne did this years ago in Namor and I thought it was cool as hell. He brought back Master Man and Woman from the Invaders in the 70s. They had been hiding looking for a time to come back.

I guess all the sellers bought pre-sale and the buyers didn't (shrug)

 

God knows what will happen if Lionsgate go ahead and pick up the movie option, but those are all completed sales, not asking prices.

Viper is a bulk seller on the board. He buys big lots (maybe in 50s, 100s or even 200s) and then sell them cheap on ebay with a 0.99 opening bid in most cases.

Even though the bids are low, he claims he still makes money due to the massive discounts he got from buying in bulk from his distributors.

 

There a number of sellers who operates like that on ebay. Usually we need to wait for them to clear their supplies before seeing any meaningful price increase.
