lol That's right... I started my own birthday thread--how sad am I?

 

Anyhow, I miss the boards and it's great when I can chat it up with some of you via PM or the occasional thread. Been beyond swamped with my family, work, and NUMEROUS writing projects, so my collecting has been sidetracked for some time now.

 

But I'll say this: SO much of what I've learned has its roots in what many members here have gotten me start onto--from modern story lines to history lessons in the golden age. And since my dissertation is all about comic book superheroes (Spidey, Superman, and Batman especially), I'd say my time here has had a positive effect!-)

 

Anyhow, I hope I'll be able to be less of a stranger in the not-so-distant future!
