Do they know about each other's role in your life?

We just got back.

I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time. It was awesome. There were a few moments where the visuals made me think that Jack Kirby was somewhere with a big smile on his face.

Thanos looked incredible...all the comments that the CGI looked "rushed" were incorrect.

As far as the space battles...the bar is set, Star Wars. You're on the clock. :)

Peace,

Chip

Oh, and one more thing...applause! The whole theater not only uproariously laughed throughout, but at the end there was a HUGE ovation. First time that's happened in a theater I've been in...probably in 20 years or so.

Peace,

Chip

I felt at times it had almost a Star Wars feel to it. It was just a good movie all around.

Go see it Logan :baiting:

I might, if I can find the time. I have no real attachment to the GotG and this iteration is based on a book I didn't read. I like Starlord and I'm kind of disappointed they appear to have turned him into a joke machine, but Marvel does that with almost every character in the movies these days so I'm becoming numb to it I guess.

I have no attachment either and I'm not even sure I've read a comic with any of the characters in it outside of Thanos.

That might help since you seem to hate when they change stuff.

Oh and I thought Chris Pratt was outstanding as Starlord, but yes he was funny.

Hopefully I can get past that, but considering he's my favorite character in that movie...my spider-sense is tingling.

At this point, any bad reviews or people saying they didn't like it are just trying to get attention for being different or they just have mess for taste.

Let's get real here. Casablanca is a great movie. Raging Bull is a great movie. Superhero movies are made for people with mess taste - or who can leave their good taste at the door and just have fun.

If I do, it'll be next weekend. If not, it'll have to wait until I can rent it.

Marvel's estimates have been revised to a possible $90-million opening weekend...

:o:o:o:o:o

Peace,

Chip

Why would that be a surprise? Just look at the sample of viewers here talking about going back the next day to go watch the movie again.

That is just incredible!

:applause:
