WW StL Con Report (Friday only; underground comix-ish)

Drove down from Milwaukee

Attended FRI only

Sold my Walking Dead #1 freebie and bought this courtesy #gregreece (my first superhero 'mic )...

 

Stayed at the Lumiere Casino FRI night (watched the wild US World Cup snowqualifier in "Stadium" at the casino)

SAT at the StL zoo and the history museum

SAT night with friends from LSU and a crawfish bowl at Riverbend by Anheiser-Busch

SUN drive back to Milwaukee and saw 66 cars in the ditch between StL and just north of Lincoln, IL (~155mi stretch)

Thank you, that's nice. I have no complaints whatsoever. I have bought some underground type stuff from him off these boards (great), we communicated briefly about StL and he forwarded his show schedule. I looked-at/handled just about every X-Men 1 or Amazing Spider-Man 1 in my price range. For the money, I liked how this book presented the best, e.g. PQ is OWW or better. Harley's X-Men 1 was 2nd choice for me (small piece out of front cover). After that maybe I would have tried for Terry's Comics' Tales of Suspense 39. After that I would have bought the nice copies of American Splendor 2 & 4 (maybe Leroy Harper?)
