Walking Dead Issue 56 Error Variant???

25 posts in this topic

So basically I've been scanning craigslist for a good couple of hours looking for all things walking dead and I stumbled upon this

now I've done a hell of a lot of research on my walking dead but I've never come across or heard of a #56 error variant

The guy said it was due to a printing problem

Anyone have any more info on this?/ know how many were distributed?

There is a niche corner for collecting error books in the comic community. The real problem with error books is that you need to know what your looking at. Color errors are the hardest for unsuspecting people. Sun fading causes misunderstanding.

I have plenty of books without a certain color. The other colors are normally bright and exactly the same as other copies, but a single color looks faded. Its almost never the entire cover.

Many of these books do fetch a premium, mainly on the character title. if you have an ASM error thats real... foil missing, true color error, double cover. Its worth more, period. Why people get all upset about this is beyond me, Maybe its a problem with the word " variant". Its an error, thats different. Whatever you want to call it or not call it, I think most error collectors would appreciate the same respect as everyone else around here.
