So the wife's trash mag of the week makes a top list about Superheroes

and she gives it to me...

I laughed when I see FF ranked so low and Buffy so high...

FF at #25....

lol

see I told you'd laff.

It's almost as nutso as trying to explain to a non collector why AF15 is much more important

than ASM1. You through the whole historical stand point, briefing them that not only is AF15 the

first appearance but Stan Lee story about the constant rejection of having a spider related hero

teen that had all these problems and it all getting stuffed into a final issue of a canceled title.

And they still say "but ASM 1 is the one you want, right?" and "How much is that worth anyway"...

you just can't win with non-collectors.

:insane:

02) The Punisher

:)

that's on the "worst" list brother...

(as sad as it seems)

:gossip:

But honestly that does make sense...as a superHERO is is pretty much the worst at it.

And I can see why Buffy is high on that list - pretty much one of the best character arcs and heroics created in modern times,

Why they hatin' on the Wonder Twins? (shrug)

I didn't even realize Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a superhero. I had her categorized as one of the gazillion urban fantasy paranormal badass girls.

If they're all superheroes, there's a flood going on right now in the superhero genre.

Buffy is the only non-comic book Super Hero ever?

there have to be others....

And then you'd have to differentiate between Super Heroes that originated in a comic book, and those that originated elsewhere but eventually appeared in a comic book.

Space Ghost and Jonny Quest come to mind.
