The 4.5 Horrific 1 ended at $2800. And the Famous Funnies 214 3.0 ended at $1230. I guess the sale earlier this year was not a fluke. I bought a 3.0 or so from Harley for $300 in March. As a Pre-Code Horror collector since the late 80's I find these prices hard to believe, $2-300 used to be a big price for most of these books. I've only been collecting GA for a couple/few years and just in that time the price increases have been insane. Unless it's a comic I really want, or is marked much lower than it should be, I am a window-shopper on these guys. Randall Dowling

Yea I just watched a 4.0 on eBay go for over $800. I wasn't expecting anywhere near that for this book.

Popular Post fifties
OK, I know I'm fudging because it ain't precode, but with a Bill Everett end of Earth cover and a story he also illustrated, I'd like to think it qualifies. goldust40, Snaves, Raze and 6 others

N e r V
I do find it slightly assuming that this is the first stories title... and later in the comic we have this ad... Larryw7

Yeah, you can see the stories there, but still not the same as reading the paper pages. Sorta like, "taking a bath with your socks on", eh eh. Popular Post Robot Man
Just arrived today. Now this is "esoteric". Just the kind of books I used to love picking out of random dealer's boxes on the cheap back when there were comic shows... fifties, Larryw7, B2D327 and 2 others

Was a early EBay purchase for me around 98. My favorite line Rib-Tickling Horror !!! Jayman
Mine was from eBay as well. Viva la rib-tickling horror! Just noticed on RM’s copy that the Hitler tombstone has a question mark with a Swastika that couldn’t be seen on Hap’s and my copy because it was cut off. Pretty cool! Would love an 8.5 but the grade does not necessarily coincide with the cut of the book.
