KirbyJack
If you like that, check out the .5 Cap 4 Simon Comics is asking about in another thread. Nic8612

That book could easily grade 8.0+ if the back cover was there. Ridiculously nice looking KirbyJack

Maybe it’s the angle of the picture but the label appears to be black and white which I thought was used for a pedigree book. I don’t see any notation as such on the label though. No, just the angle and not a pedigree book.

That would make sense if just an ad page was missing, or maybe a text story, as long as the pictorial stories weren't affected.

originalisbest
I don't disagree, it's just the way it goes, that most all my now high-dollar books I bought long ago for much less. My Haunted Thrills #6 I paid $140 for at a small local con about 15 years ago. Similar on a far-smaller scale to old-time collectors who recall what they could have paid for an Action #1 in 1970. Not that a Haunted Thrills 6 is anywhere as important as an Action 1, but it's not valued as though it is either. Once upon a time it probably sold to someone for $10 or so. originalisbest
Same reasoning, BTW, why a Black Cat Mystery #50 is out of my reach these days. I had my chances at decent copies for $250 and then $500 -- oh well!
