On a 3D cover related note. Got in a Forever Evil 3D today that is absolutely flawless. Kudos to the Ebay seller who I purchsed it from.

I would LOVE to see my favorite X-Men (and Neal Adams) cover in 3-D.... Dammit! Now I REALLY REALLY WANT THIS!!!!

Again let me stress how awesome these books are. I picked up some more 3D covers this week thanks to another boardie. This books are just simply beautiful.

 

Flash Rogues and Cheetah Wonder Woman are my daughters favorites this week.

 

I can see prices stabilizing in a few months as buyers look to complete sets. Maybe by 2014 prices will come back down, but until after holidays I don't see these books coming down much.

I just hope if Marvel does do 3D covers that they are not 1:200 ,1:100 or any other high dollar retailer incentive. I like paying $3.99 for the lenticular covers.

They would work great and would sell out. Marvel has already done something similiar awhile back with Chromiums of some X-men and ASM books. ASM 300 still holds value while other books are like $10-20 books.

Detective Comics #880 would be great as a 3d cover.

Marvel could totally set this up with a fan vote ahead of time for their favorite classic covers. Maybe have a list of 70 and final picks would be 50 or so. The fan vote would really give them some big PR.

Midtown just cancelled my order for the 3d set for next week. I have not had an order cancelled by any internet retailer until now. What a bummer.

Bummer authority these allocations are going to spoon off a lot of people. Anyone else seen dectective comics 23.4 Man-Bat? I think it looks sick!
