How'd I do? Just got it from a UK seller on eBay. Regardless of grade, I'm pretty happy but I'd be interested to hear what you think...

Doesnt someone have that avatar on the boards,

 

The chips missing from the back edge cover will hurt it the most. Looks to be in the VG/FN range

I always thought he was the wierdest idea for a hero ( at least for a human). I guess that the appearances in Forbidden Worlds were a Showcase like tryout prior to getting his own title.

 

Unfortuneatly I don't have any of mine scaned now So I picked a famous authors to attach here

Looking at the front cover creates a big grin.

 

Looking at the back cover, what a bummer. That's a decent size chunk out of top corner.

I think FN- 5.5 is the right ballpark. I wouldn't argue with 5.0 either--I hate chips!

Nice copy, hard to find - my copy's got some water staining. Took me a full 6-months of e-mails to find one. I'll post it later.

I was thinking 5.0/5.5 before I read the posts on the board. Sounds like we all concur.

5.0 is about what I thought. From the eBay listing, I was actually hoping for a Fine or better but it just showed the front cover. Obviously the back takes away but still, I'm happy. I just mailed in my Herbie #1 yesterday to FL. I sent it in Econo so when I get it back in '05, I'll post it...
