Foxing on back cover question.

What if a book looks VF except for some mild foxing on the back cover. Would it drop the book to a Fine? Thanks for the help.

Pictures would really help, but I'd say no if its mild.

Personally, if I have to tilt the book around to see the foxing, I will still consider it VF. If it's plainly seen, I drop it to a Fine.

Sorry no pictures last night - pool league went long . The foxing is plainly visible and looks like some brownish speckling along on the bottom of the white back covers. Ill post some pictures tonight.

+1. I have seen small amounts of foxing on 9.2's.

That is more than I would consider "mild".

Thanks for posting this since I've been too busy in the evenings to take pictures. I'd say that amount of foxing and in some cases a bit more or less. Does that amount of foxing drop the grade by two grades?
