I agree with the technical 4.0, but I would not be surprised or unhappy buying this as a 4.5, and could see it graded as high as 5.0 - nize book! (thumbs u

Wasn't sure if I missed something here when I looked back to see what others had graded? I still feel comfortable with 5.5 unless there are some hidden defects? Or unless I have missed something obvious?

What a great cover. Nurse all in white in the thick of battle wearing high heels.

Wasn't sure if I missed something here when I looked back to see what others had graded? I still feel comfortable with 5.5 unless there are some hidden defects? Or unless I have missed something obvious?

 

Front cover - Edge tears on right edge (2 observable), edge tear on bottom,looks to be around half an inch long, tears at both staples (top staple more sunken with more noticeable tears), 17 edge chips along top and right edge (most smaller than one millimeter, a couple at 2mm), three eighths corner chip, bottom right , additional minute edge chipping along bottom

 

Back cover - several tiny stains, soiling and handling wear.

 

That's just what I can see in the scan... it might not be as bad in hand, or it might be slightly worse, but with all of that, 4.0 seems right to me.

Thanks Cimm. I did not account for the tear on the bottom of the front cover. I based my opinion on the absence of folds or creases. I think this book might still get a 5.0 with a tear on the front page.
