Is that a tear or a hair at the TEBC?

 

Ok, then with the tear and tiny crease at the REFC and the tear at the TEBC, I'll have to drop it to an 8.0. Not a lot else wrong with it.

That IS a tear. Not quite as long as the line is but yes.

Do they grade square bounds different. I just was not sure. With the tear on the BC and what looks like a small tear on the right side front cover.

 

CGC has always been harsh on my SA DC's

 

Could be 7.5 I suppose.

Squarebounds are much harder to find in higher grade.

In hand this one looks and feels like a 8.0 to me. I origianally

thought 8.5 until the two flaws came to my attention.

They are really small flaws and the positives on this book,

espcecially for a squarebound are outstanding.

I will probably put in my collection as a 7.5 but it still "feels" 8.0!!

6.5, IMHO. Tear on the back and what looks to be another small tear on the front cover right edge of the book bring down what could have been an 8.0.
