Just arrived!  I had the AP version of this but wanted the Star copy as well.  Not bad one either.  Could use a pressing, but the colors are nice (better than the AP) and it wasn't much $.

Inspired by L.B. Cole here to look up the meaning of an odd lyric lodged in my brain and nudged out by this cover:

"Got more Louie than Philip Rizutto"  Beastie Boys, What Comes Around off Paul's Boutique

I must have played this album *one billion* times as a teenager

Meaning:

Phil will hook you up with a DEAL, borrow as much money as you need for a fixed rate loan as low as 14.5%

Got to keep an eye out for those dirty Yankees...

OMG those commercials ran all the time back in the day.  And Phil used to call the Yankees games, so you can imagine they ran during those.  I hadn't thought about the money store in decades.  If you wanna have fun look up Crazy Eddie.... his prices were "In-saaaaaaaaaaaaaaane!!!!!!!!!

Had to 'Mannup' for this one. I don't believe I've ever seen another signed Cole pb and it's one of his absolute best GGA covers, or cover of any kind imho. You guys over here have surely seen more Cole than I have though

Here's high grade copies of all four of the small pb Croydon Cole's. Pardon the glare, this is one of my favorite sets in all of the paperbacks

This was one that I picked up in an HA auction.  I had it as a 5.0, but CGC thought a bit otherwise.  Not too bad, and still a cool cover:

Nice! Yes, first one I have ever seen. Heck, I rarely seen many autographed comics. I don’t think he did all that many.

I have a signed paperback, also. I didn't even realize it was signed until I received it and opened it. Not sure when it was signed, though. Maybe during his convention appearances in the 1980s?

Vicious Circle was my most recent pickup and by far the hardest for me to find.

Nice and Naughty I had a low grade copy and stupidly sold it thinking I'd find a better copy. That was a bad idea.

Raging Passions I've owned three (!) copies and ended up selling them since I falsely believed they were common. Turns out I just lucked out finding the copies I did. I like that cover a lot.

With this sub I wanted to get a few different genres in, so I went western!  First up, OUTLAWS #10!  Would have graded higher if not for a small chip out of the top back cover.  Love the good guy kicking butt in the green hat and pants!

Ok, this one was a bit of a let down.  It seems that for about every 25 books I send in I get one of these.  I can't see the CT at all.  Still it's a darn cool cover. Man, Cole loved his horses!  Notice the logo change from #10 to OUTLAWS #11.  

I wasn't gonna do this, but what the heck.  The purple label leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth so I'll back it up with what may be the best cover in the run, OUTLAWS #12.  Love the trippy sky and the floating ghost heads!  And a barrel of apples - just because.

It's not really color-touched, they just wanted to give you a label that matched the comic.

#12 may be my favorite in the run, but I do love the yellow logo on Outlaws #13.  Too bad CGC couldn't say it was signed and give me a matching label for this one too (   @adamstrange)!  I think the lighter covers on this series just work better.
