Hello all,

 

PGM Avengers 53. I'm thinking a couple of ticks on the spine. Cover appears to have been bound slightly off fold (FC art comes around to the BC).

 

Sorry about the size of the scans, still getting the hang of this and it is way past time for me to go to bed.

A very nice copy pity about that bottom staple. If not for that I would say 9.0+ with it I am thinking 8.0.

 

EDIT: My grade if the staple were not half popped would be 9.2/9.4 not sure how cgc would deduct for it.

 

I have seen a few similar examples get 7.0-8.0 for half popped staples.

Looks like an easy 9.2, but the tear at staple area may bring it down.

Not sure about the terminology, with respect to the staple. Staple itself is not popped (in the sense that it is still tight and holds all of the pages together). Only issue there is the tear on the spine. Does that count as "popped"? Does that info affect your thoughts on the grade?
