A 5.0 just sold on ebay for a little over $13k. Market taking a dip on this book?

 

Not in low grades if we are to trust ebay/gpa, 1.0 for $5.3k certainly feels strong.

 

Feels like a "decent" copy in 5.0, certainly not the strongest I have seen.

 

Market pricing has yet to settle, still very few public sales in general.

$13,200 is not a horrible number for a book with chipping and writing.

Amazing how fast things change.

 

Before it was "how low can I go"

Are you coming to any So. Calif. Shows next year? Show season starts for me at Terry O'Neills show in Jan. :cloud9:

OMG!!! Hulk 1 is on fire.

 

I bought a raw "3.0" 2 years ago for $3000 that I thought looked way better than 3.0. I was sweating bullets waiting for it to get resto checked and was even having buyers remorse. It ended up coming back as a Blue label 5.0.

 

I feel like a genius now.

It's a raw key being sold on E-Bay. Of course there's something wrong with it. Seller doesn't help matters by proclaiming his lack of grading skills.

lol Yeah not sure why the link stretched out like that.

Other than the book being on ebay and the seller's sketchy explanation for why he is selling it raw, does it not look trimmed ?

sellers minor books are cgc and major books are raw. Huge red flag.

Congrats on the grade.Expecting a 3.0 and getting a 5.0 is awesome.
