PGM X-Men 37

Last one for me tonight. PGM X-Men 37. This book seems to be in outstanding condition next to my other X-Men prior to #50. Very interested in your opinions.

that does look like a bright colorful cover. hard to call. Is it a restaple ?

To my knowledge, it is the original staple. Like most of my collection, I bought it from a dealer (in 1981?), read it once, bagged it and stored it in a box. Someone might be able to tell, but I am not he.

FYI,

 

I checked this issue on e-bay. Many have a misalignment of the cover that makes the TL look cut off, and at least one of them has the top stable in the exact same spot as my copy.

Either a huge coincidence or some number were just assembled that way. That said, I don't believe it to be restapled. I defer to other (better informed) opinions, of course.
