Well, I'm sure the business is run by people known around here. They have two phone numbers listed. Someone should give them a call and get their "Nancy Drew" on.

:baiting:

Did someone say "Jessica Drew"? :cloud9:

No, Nancy Drew...you know, a character more than 5 people care about lol

There "About" tab is a GEM.

"Additionally the organization does not provide volume discounts or provide any preferential treatment based on the size, value, or frequency of submissions. In order to eliminate conflicts of interest and self-dealing within the organization, all employees and agents agree to abstain from commercial comic book transactions during employment and in some cases for up to 6 months after employment ends. Our online ordering system further bolsters fairness, impartiality and transparency during service procurement by universally disregarding the specious concept of “authorized dealership” that exists in the marketplace today. The purpose of these policies and safeguards add to the integrity of the marketplace. Vault is the only impartial third party grading company that employs these practices in the marketplace today."

Lots on theses boards have been howling for CGC competition

Looks like it is in the Vault ?

I guess we will know if they pop up at cons this summer who is running it

and I also guess that some one here on theses boards already knows

Three cheers for the topic of 2014

Judging by the two examples on Ebay...the BTAS 12 with a staple tear on the back cover and the NM 98 with a corner MISSING....and both getting a 9.4...which they say is several actual grades above CGC's 9.4, we're gonna have to keep howling. lol

Love this from the eBay listing of Batman:

"Vault grading is much more rigorous and buyer/collector friendly than than CGC and PGX. This graded comic is a true 9.4/Near Mint not a CGC/PGX 9.4 (which is more like an 8.5!)"

They also:

1) Don't grade SA, GA, or Magazines

2) Charge $45 to grade a book...and $55 if you want to know WHY they gave it that grade...plus another $40 if you want to give it a smush. lol

3) The "reviews" on their site are a joke. If they are going to put shilled reviews up they should probably pump the brakes on the wild claims of "my vault books sold for 35 to 50% higher than the same CGC books listed on ebay." and "Graded a WD 101 ghost variant – amazing book at a 9.6. Sold it for 50% more than the same one signed and graded by CGC." Sure they did....would these folks be willing to show those auctions and be willing to show ALL bidders ID's?
