Just met Ethan Van Sciver!

Hello all!

I was just at Ethan's signing at Boca Comics. He's a great guy, brought some original art (his art for the cover of X-Men 146 which features Xorn, covers for GL: Rebirth, he even brought issues 2 and 3 of GL Rebirth, but I didn't get a chance to see them).

He did a real cool Hal Jordan Green Lantern sketch, and while talking, he mentioned that Green Arrow would have a huge role in the series.

He also mentioned he'd be at Tampa-Con, for whoever plans on being around there.

 

Anyway, I'm posting the sketch he did for me.

that's a cool sketch u got!! i also got one of his original art. this was acquired at the 2001 MOTOR CITY COMIC CON. i bought it at EBAY.

I met him at the FX Show last year and he is one heckuva nice guy. I got a sketch from him as well and I will pots it when I can get it scanned (next day or 2)

I met him last December in Chelmsford MA. He was the first comic creator I ever met! He was a nice guy and signed some stuff for me. I talked with him about his art on Impulse. He said that was tough for him because he basically had to draw like Humberto Ramos.

that is cool I met ethan this weekend when I set up the signing at the CGC booth he did an awesome kilewog sketch. I wish I remembered that he did the X-men 146 cover I had to copies and forgot to get them signed.
