Elite_Comics11 just posted an AF #15 CGC 2.5 OW/W with upper right-hand corner of cover turn off for $28,995.EC11.jpg.96fa8a6591a807f814ae66c4dcc9cedd.jpg

I’m interested in seeing if this one sells.  I have a 2.5 with a piece missing (but on the back cover).

As far as 1.0 is concerned, it definitely depends upon eye appeal I think.  You can search auction results so it’s not a secret that I got this one for a little over 14k.  Maybe I’m putting the cart before the horse, but I feel like that was a decent price.

I think most collectors would be proud to have this book in their collection.

There’s an beauty and charm to books in this condition. They were read and loved while existing in the daily  flow of life. How was the rip in the corner made and when? And on and on and on…

Hmm.  That’s a tough one.  I think it presents nicely from an eye appeal aspect.  But the pieces out of the pages is the kicker.  Sorry I’m not much help on pricing.

Yes,  I would be curious to hear what the pros think.

2.5s seem to be right around $30k and moves up or down based eye appeal.

It has nice eye appeal, so I'm thinking around $23k even with the interior pieces missing.

The pieces missing cant be much I’m thinking it had  some dialogue in panels affecting story missing I’ve never inspected the book but can someone really afford to be super picky with these prices ? I don’t see very many copies I can afford, def there are better out there but I’ve seen way way worse than this ….

Agreed... And one missing a BC just sold for $20k +.

Honestly, I would pay more for your copy than other 1.5s that present worse. So the pieces missing are meaningless for me personally. These books are slabbed and I wouldn't be cracking to inspect the interior pages.

I've always been a fan of high eye appeal low grade copies for books that will remain slabbed.

As an additional data point, a 2.0 sold on Heritage for $26,400.
