PGM Iron Man 1

I just picked this one up yesterday. I've never been biggest Iron Man fan but I have always loved this iconic Marvel cover! The bottom right corner is missing - its about a half inch tall. The white dots are to show you that those are rips beside them.

4.5/5.0 I saw some lower scores, is it because of the chip/tape pull bringing it down that much?

I gave it a 4.0, which I attribute to:

1. My inexperience as a grader; and

2. In addition to the two tears noted, there is a third tear below those two, there looks like maybe moisture in the upper left box, and what looks like white-out or some other substance on the back.

 

BUT, still a really nice book.

Iron Man 1's are tougher to grade as the dark cover gives the illusion of a lot more damage than in actuality. I base my grade evaluation on that.

Nice book for 98 bucks, I'll grade it 5.5 taking into account the tape pull in the back cover, the paper loss in the fclr and wear/tears fc and on the spine.
