Not a high grade book but was curious with the wear and corner chunk, what grade you think? Still attached and secure. I was thinking 1.5/1.8?

Nice presentation. If the missing corner is due to brittleness, then it's going to be less than GD as you suggest. With the flaked piece showing in the back cover scan and the slighter chipping at the bottom left front, in addition to tannish looking pages, I'd say brittleness is likely. 1.5 seems about right. If the pages weren't brittle I'd be inclined to think more like a 2.5, even with the missing corner.

There are a few pages that are torn which is the piece you see hanging but I do believe the pages may be SB. The chunk in the corner either chewed or torn off.

 

It may go lower than 1.5.

My first impression was 2.0! The book doesn't show a lot of cover wear and for that reason I think this book is worthy of a grade bump IMHO!
