We'll start with everyone playing in the seeding round of about seven books. Then take the top 64 scores/contestants and put them into the bracket.

 

I'm not sure if this is the way it's been done in the past or not. My internet is down (am on my phone) and I don't have the time to look at past Tournaments.

 

So to sum things up, I don't have an official answer.

SHOCK SUSPENSTORIES 16 SEPT 1954

VG/VG-

General reader handling for the grade…and a light but noticeable vertical fold crease down the middle of the book. Nice spine with minimal wear. Tape pull at top edge above “K”. NCB creasing along right edge and some general rumpliness to the cover. Overhang at bottom edge with associative transverse ticks. Back cover overlapped to front cover. Still sporting a decent level of color and gloss. Back cover is in pretty decent shape with a horizontal printing bindery crease emanating from the left edge to about the center of the book. Center vertical crease top to about 2-inches above the bottom edge corresponding with the front cover crease (through the whole book). Some light staining around the top center and top left.

 

The inside covers are devoid of tanning, but have some type of light but pervasive red ink transfer. Structure is sound. Rust-free staples are tight…center wrap tight. Interior pages are cream to off-white and complete.

Stories include: …My Brother’s Keeper. The Hazing. A Kind of Justice (rape story). The Pen is Mightier.

 

Inside cover features “Red Dupe” editorial excoriating those who would ban comics as communists! And a cool one page (text only) story titled SLOB! Plus “Shock Talk” letters page.
