I've been staring at this book for the last hour trying to find a single flaw and the only thing I can see other than the smallest color break on the top right edge of the FC are two small tears along the bottom edge on the back cover. They look like they happened during manufacturing. Does cgc take into account stuff that happened to the book when it was being made? How much of a grade drop would they give the book? Thanks as always!

 

Any white specs on the black are from the scanner, the black on the book is flawless.

Other than the slight chip at the top left fc, there also appears to be some slight spine stress below the bottom staple and a slight cb crease on the black area of spine by whosit's right elbow.

 

I think a Solid 9.6

The "grabber tears or pulls" on the bottom of the back cover will have no effect on the grade even at 9.8.

This copy however in my opinion is 9.6! Nice book!
