Aside from #3, are any of the others significant?

 

1-3 mostly

#1 is the origin of the sword, #2 is the first appearance of Vanth, #3 the 2 combine to become Vanth Dreadstar. The remainder of the Metamorphisis tale isn't all that valuable.

I used to see Epic issues in the sales boxes at the comic shops as a kid. 20 years later, I am picking back issues up wherever I see them and I gotta say: They were doing some amazing stuff! I am totally hooked on the early Dreadstar/Metamorphosis Odyssey. Glad to find this thread.
