That crease would be considered the entire length of the book and I would

not be happy recieving this book above a 4.5! Quite possibly a 4.0 IMHO...

I did not know such a spine crease would lower so much the grade…

At this point I’m very curious to know how the experts of CGC grading would judge this.

Even though it's a very nice looking copy I'd also say 4.5. That crease that runs the entire length of the book will kill the grade.

That goes also with Overstreet standards (I don’t know enough about creases – for my collection I personally find them to be more or less annoying depending on placement as well as size).

5.0 IMHO! The readers crease is a killer but the book presents really well. I think for that reason the grade is appropriate.
