BATMAN HOLDING A GUN

Ran across this in my collection...and I don't remember another cover

showing BATMAN holding a gun and wearing a shoulder holster.

Are there any others?

He had one in his fourth cover appearance. The holster is there, anyway…

This is in fact the first time batman is shown with a gun on a cover (before it was a gimmick), and only the second time he used a gun at all in that story (again, before it became a gimmick).

 

Great book, is it yours?

Batman using a gun always makes me think of the faux pas Carmine Infantino made when he was brought in to give Bats a new look (I know SA). I believe Schwartz quickly educated Infantino.

 

I did find this blog that shows many different gun-toting Bats throughout the ages.
