Interesting. Isn't that Mike Zeck's first GI Joe cover? I owned the cover prelim by Larry Hama for several years - it was much tighter than the average cover prelim as he wanted to really spell it out for Mike to make sure he got it right.

wow. How does someone even go about finding out WHO owns these types of gems???

These sort of things seem to be SO hidden away in collections that no one knows about and then all of a sudden someone pops up and says "look what I bought!" and then you're left scratching your head because you've either never ever seen it on the market or only seen it once 30 years ago .

 

Such a dream to own something like this! Major congrats!!!
