PGM Fin Fang Foom ST 89

Front has a small tape pull in FFFs arm, cover is glossy has a few fixable ncb creases, some spine wear, back has a few NCB creases that should press out nicely.

 

So what ya think?

VG+ with the small piece missing. As far as tape pulls go, that's not all bad at all, On a lower mid grade book like this its just part of the wear IMO.

 

The problem w tape pulls is how distracting they can be. So while a missing corner is materiallly worse than a 1/4 inch tape pull (yours isn't even that), since a piece missing is not vital to the cover image its not as "bad" Usually the tape pull wear is in the title or in the center of the book taking off half of a characters face or something.

I think the creases, spine wear, top cover chip out, and tape pull equal about a 4.5, albeit a really nice 4.5.

 

Strange Tales 89 can be a tough book. Congrats on the score.

I love it and want to give it a good #. It's a hard book to sniff out. That said, I'm thinking its probably 4.0.

4.0 IMHO! Spine wear and the combination of other defects keep the grade from being higher in my opinion. Nice book otherwise.
