Scan makes it look worse than it is, its barely noticeable in hand and likely dirt, not moisture, at least not a moisture that penetrates into the paper. Im guessing It can be cleaned.

8.0 all day, all night and tomorrow too. Tiny tear near bottom staple & BC staining keep this book out of higher grade.

If stain isn't bad this is a nice copy, but Id have to see it in person.

 

All split the difference and say 8.5 depending on stain.

 

If stain is nothing it could go 9.4 easy.

8.0 IMHO! I'm not convinced that CGC would grade higher based on the staining. But there is one way to be certain....send it in!!

That's why I use imgur. No limits for free account, you can upload as much as you want, pictures are always there but only the last 225 are visible on the public site.

Nice book 8.0 but if there was no staining in the backcover 9.6
