i'm thinking about the same grade as the # 8 but for different reasons. 7.5 - 8.0.

 

(that is color fading on the lower edge and lRC, isn't it??).

 

i never thought about it before, but the 4 chacters who broke away from TOS and TTA at the same time, all had similar inaugural covers. CA, Hulk, IM and Subby are all just posing on the covers with no details as to the inner story or the villain....... 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

BB, actually, no it isn't -- this ish has notoriously poor background coloring. There appears to be a bit of a shadow along the bottom edge though 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Yes, IMHO they are less than the respective #2's of each title - perhaps it was the design /pressure of the moment - a lot was going on.

Question, does OS and or CGC count distributor overspray as a defect?

Also, Diva, what is that going on with the tlc? 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

 

Generally, there is no deduction for minor distributor overspray, e.g. here, except in the very high grades - 9.4 or higher. Obviously, to spray or not to spray is hardly a question . . . 27_laughing.gifinsane.gif

 

The ULFC is a tad of fraying to an even taddier overhang. 27_laughing.gif

8.5 or perhaps 9.0 due to slight wear at the spine corners, distributor ink, and tiny chip missing near the TRC FC. thumbsup2.gif

 

Got the grade today:
