At least I'm the ONLY contestant that did not over-grade on any of the 20 books.

7 bulls-eyes.

Under-graded on the other 13.

35th place with 50 points.

Not bad for my first contest, I'm happy with that.

hm I am going to add you to my list of Board members I would be comfortable buying raw books from. :)

I actually got involved with Nik's Grading Contests because the person who was helping him, Silvers I think, had problems with basic spreadsheets. He also ran into the HTML character limit in Posts that we all experience now via the VCC when he tried to use HTML tables for the tabulation.

 

Early 2004 was a GROUP Grading competition I think. Newt Samson, one of the team winners, would eventually join CGC as a grader.

I was part of that team along with FFB, but it wasn't the same competition as the one above. 10 years ago - man am I getting old.

Butters was a kid at the time.. but he eventually started college. I'm not sure what has happened since.

 

Also, don't forget that ComicSupply also had Grading Contests in the early days before their troubles came out. hm
