Did Lucy disappoint?

I saw this a few years ago I think, only it was called The Matrix.

I watched it opening day, I can say it wasnt what I was expecting.

It had some interesting action packed moments but the majority of the movie was just weird

It's a combination of limitless, the matrix & species. It needed a better ending that's for sure.

Yeah - I saw it. Wasn't bad, but it also failed to establish any rules about what she could or couldn't do so after a while you sorta lost interest as there's nothing at stake anymore.

At no point in this movie did you have any emotional attachment to any of the characters. There were plot holes all over the place. Most of the cool effects were given away in the previews. As much as I wanted this to be a great movie, it wasn't. OK to see, but it's a 2.5 of 5 pretty much.

Oh man I was hoping to read good things in the thread... I watched that other ScarJo film recently and it left a lot to be desired... Skin Deep I think... I was hoping this would be a better film...

Seemed like a movie that should not have been made yet. Not a complete and cohesive story. The ending left much to be desired

I'm pretty much avoiding it because of that. The fact that they made a movie based on something we have known is 100% false, and there must of been at least ONE person involved who said it was, says more for how little regard they have for the intelligence of the audience. To keep perpetuating false ideas / false science rather then education or...oh i don't know...and original idea? Just disappointing.

 

If you want to see Scarlett than just see 'Under the Skin' which was GOOD.
