Pretty nice book, but is it worth the asking price?

Here's another one I find odd. Sure it's Avengers #1, but a 1.5? Why would anyone have slabbed it in the first place?

Generally, graded keys sell for a higher price than raw books even in low grade.

Yeah, I figured, but a 1.5 book raw would get you what, no more than 5% of the NM value? So 5% of we'll say $3,500 is ......... oh $175. crazy.gif

 

So yeah, $80 for a slabbed 1.5 isn't too bad tonofbricks.gif
