Bosco685
It Seems The Deal Is Done - SPIDER-MAN Will Be A Part Of AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR ------------------- Latino Review's Dave Gonzalez has posted his weekly column, and has revealed a LOT of new details about Marvel Studios' upcoming slate of movies. Though Dave is usually on the money, until any of this is official we'll have to take it as a rumor for now -- but if even half the stuff below turns out to be true, the MCU is is for one Hades of a shake up. First off, we better address that headline: According to Dave, the "deal went through" and Spider-Man will indeed be a part of Avengers: Infinity War Part 1. -------------------
Bosco685
2016's box office schedule gets a little lighter. James Cameron Says AVATAR 2 Delayed Until Late 2017 ---------------------- Today in New Zealand, director James Cameron ("The Terminator") was at an event promoting the local film industry along with his friend and fellow director Peter Jackson ("The Hobbit"). During the event, Cameron revealed that his original plan to have Avatar 2 in theaters by late 2016 was too ambitious, so he decided to push its release date to late 2017. ---------------------- The article writer makes a really good point. For a movie that was so massively successful financially, you don't really hear a lot of people clamoring for a follow-up.

I haven`t heard any buzz about Avatar. This is much different then Star Wars and Lord of the Rings who had long waits, but still were talked about amongst the fans. Bosco685
I really liked her in Dexter. Although she was a serial killer on that show, she had a side to her that made you feel for the character. Ouch! Okay. She was crazy. Her looks threw me off. Bosco685
A New Director Contender Emerges For 'Aquaman' ----------------- It looks like Entourage wasn't that far off when it came to Aquaman. The aquatic hero with the power to talk to fish is being portrayed by Jason Momoa for a rumored four-picture deal. We're hearing Warner Brothers is gearing up the 2018 solo outing for the hero and is ready to introduce the character to the public in a way that we won't make fun of him. If Marvel can do it for Groot, why not WB for Aquaman? ----------------- And potential co-star... ----------------- WB is waiting patiently for Star Trek 3 to go into production and finish because they'd like to have Karl Urban step into Aquaman in an unspecified supporting role, possibly the villain. Urban and WB have had a good relationship in the past with Urban almost becoming a Batman, and for TV, WB producing Urban-starring Almost Human with Bad Robot for Fox. ----------------- And potential director... ----------------- Last we heard was that Jeff Nichols, last seen in cinemas with the lyrical MUD with Matthew McConaughey was on the list, and NOW sources tell me that Noam Murro impressed Warner Bros. enough with 300: Rise of an Empire to also be on the list. -----------------
Bosco685
Ezra Miller On When He Found Out He Was THE FLASH -------------------- We haven't heard anything from Miller since the announcement was made, but The Hollywood Reporter caught up with him at Sundance a few days ago and asked him about the moment he learned he landed the role. "Zack Snyder told me on the phone that he wanted me to play the Flash while I was eating a tilapia in a small Central American village," Ezra Miller said. "That was definitely a moment that prompted me to question the fabric of my reality." -------------------- Why not use Grant Gustin? He's great in the role, and now established. NewEnglandGothic
Why not use Grant Gustin? He's great in the role, and now established. This is just a guess, because I don't know how big The Flash's role is for this one or down the road, but most likely scheduling conflicts and/or creator ego ("I don't want a TV actor in my $300+ million dollar movie"). Filmmaker's tend to want to choose their own quarterbacks.
ComicConnoisseur
I still think it's ridiculous to not connect their tv and movie properties. Contracts could play a role. Dividing up royalties with the network could make things complicated. Also by the time these movies are made the Flash and Arrow could be cancelled, so they would want a fresh start with new actors/brand.
