Ebay is not working...is it down for anybody else?

For the last 12 hours I have not been able to get on Ebay. I tried three computers with no luck. I rebooted my internet and still cant get to the home page. All other sites are working fine. Any ideas?

Where are you located? It might depend on your internet connection.

I am using it from Italy and all is fine… :shrug:

Fine here as well.

 

First thing to try is flushing your internet browser cache. Then close/re-open the browser.

 

If it still is an issue try flushing your DNS cache (windows only):

 

1) Go to Start and enter CMD in the box to open a command line

 

2) enter this exactly:

ipconfig -flushdns (note there is a space between ipconfig and -flushdns)

then hit enter and close the cmd window

 

Please lettuce know if either worked.

I had trouble all day--- been out since last night. I think it mght have been associated with CenturyLink --- others thought it was browser related and started downloading chrome and zen to get it to work.

 

Not sure what was wrong but now it is working.

Yes, it’s usually the provider, or the way worldwide zones are covered.

from what I saw in the down website-- most people experiencing a problem had century link and were from colorado/AZ/NM etc as well as some european folks like from Sweden.

 

it isn't the whole system but parts of it from what I read.

I have CenturyLink too, so that might have had something to do with it. It started working again without any trouble.

It is working now, but I will try doing this anyway. With any luck, it will speed up my computer.
