Hi again

 

Here is a tmnt 1 this book has color touch on the back cover and would like your opinions on what grade it would get after the CT removal

It's a toughy since I'm not familiar with removing CT and wouldn't know how the results would appear. The tape mark is also something I'm not experienced in. The book looks like a 7.5 - 8.0 w/o the 2 blemishes. The corners in your scans are not visible, tough to presume. Shooting from the hip, I'd say 6.0 - 6.5 overall. I, again not sure(man I feel so noobish right now) about CGC's policies would also speculate the removal of the CT is gonna put the book under a purple label restoration grade if it's not done with absoulte perfect results. Maybe a 7.0 if the CT removal is perfect and goes completely unnoticed?

 

Hopefully someone much more experienced than I can chime in. Sweet book nonetheless, 1st or 2nd print?

And I would give it a 5.5-6.0 with CT removed.

Not thinking about buying as I already own it. I know the book has been discussed just wanted different opinions as what it would grade out after the color touch removal.
