The Riddler is pretty stupid-he's basically the Joker. It's like Superman having another bald, scientist foe, but this one has a mustache. Big whooop.

As far as cloven-hoofed characters are concerned, Gorgon of the Inhumans is much better, though still a bit mediocre.

Why is he called Woodgod?

Does he have many lady friends?

Who is his arch-enemy?

Can he be rebooted with today`s modern audience?

I could see a Woodgod cult forming if the right pieces fell into place. hm

Gotta admit, you may have just ruined my day. I'll assume you've seen him in guest appearances, and not featured in Strange Tales, where he was masterfully drawn by Gene Colan...

 

A lame character drawn by a master can still be a lame character
