It was the song.

When I got back up, I only had 3 windows open, hit page 3 of this thread, and BAM gone again.

Got back up, and only came here, hit page 3, and there it went again.

 

Something about the song cause IE to error out. confused-smiley-013.gif

 

I know it wasn't the number of window, because that wasn't a lot.

When I'm really cruising around ebay, it's not unusual to have 50 or 60 windows open. Every time I see something that catches my eye, I just open it in another window to check on after it loads (you learn to do a ton of stuff at once when you are on dial-up, otherwise you sit around waiting for pages to load)

We go back to our home town to visit the family once a year and all they have is dial up.

After I surf on it for a while, I get sick of it and go watch TV.

If I ever have to go back to dial up, I'd do without the internet altogether. tonofbricks.gif

As far as dial-up goes though, things are pretty quick. I can usually download files at around 8 KB per sec.

I only download at 3.6 megabits per second.
