Picked this up today.

Centerfold is detached. 1cm tear on right edge. What do you think?

Any thoughts? This one is staying in my collection so I was really happy to pick it up yesterday.

CGC wouldn't just give it the higher grade and then notate the detached centerfold?

I don't know what their policy would be. In higher grade I would think that sort of thing would be for qualified grades. If the book didn't have the detached cf I'd think 3.5, but with cgc you never know.

Sent the book to CGC today. Should have the results in 3 weeks.

3.5. More about the wear and spine roll than the CF. They probably barely factor that in if the book is 6.0 or less.

I am. I think it could have been a little higher but I'm happy with the grade.

They absolutely hammer GA spine rolls. Still a very nice book. That's a fair grade. Congrats!!

Wow! How long did it take to get it graded? a few days it seems BTW I think that the grade was pretty good. The comic looks better than the number attributed to it.

It's definitely a keeper. The grading was within the turnaround time. Arrived at cgc on November 12.
