XMen #1 - grade came back 4.0 universal slight stain was hammered.

Spare a grade and impact of pressing if any? And of course, if you see resto, let me know.

 

Note the following:

 

1. The light brown stain in the middle of the front cover spine above the red box

2. Light brown stain on back cover on middle lower area between green box and 'free' red box

3. It is hard to see, but the top of front cover curls over edge a little bit.

4. Cover attached, but loosened just a little.

Is it worth drycleaning or pressing? I wonder if drycleaning will remove the light stains.

Good to note for the future though. I wonder if this book could be drycleaned and moved to a 5.0. I have never done the drycleaning or pressing thing. Maybe I will try a book soon to see the results.

From what I can see the stain is there for good. I think you get a slight bump from a press but you might want to check with Oakman first.
