Jon,

Yes, I have seen a scan of that Action # 7. Are you the current owner?

Yup----for about 10 years.....also have the 6 of the trial issues

You can't let that info out without also posting a scan of the #6... poke2.gif

Am I right?

Darren, excellent research on the authentic back cover to your most wanted collectible Action # 7. hail.gif

I can see numerous repairs to the back cover. Yes the area in question has a different ad and the ads below have rice paper added to them to fill and blend in the repair.

Here are a couple of early Action Comics I purchased last year.

I used to own the Church copy of Action #33, until "the dentist" made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Also had a nice Action #30 with a Joe Shuster autograph. Kinda miss them both.

I love those Action covers where Superman is lifting a vehicle. I also have a 7.0 CGC graded copy of #22, but for some odd reason my scan is corrupted. Oh well, I'll just have to rescan it.

Which other early Action books did you own at one time or still own? Any recommendations?

Here's a link to a thread I started a while back that has pics of all my Actions...

Wow, how cool must it be to sell a Church book to Big Dave! How was it that he didn't already have the book?
