I was going to post a thread some time back of best Wolverine images but was too lazy. I had saved a bunch of images on the hard drive. Not a cover but to me the ultimate image of Wolverine is the last page half splash from X-Men 132 where he is in the sewer. Sam Kieth did do cover homage to it for an issue of MCP.

I would then rank the cover to Wolverine 1 LS by Miller behind it.

 

A lot of people hated on the OA for Wolverine 3 LS cover but I like it. However, I like issue 1 and 4's covers better.

 

At one time I owned the Land Sabretooth decapitation cover. It hung over my bed. My ex used to and moan about my Michael Myers painting until I asked why she didn't have a problem with Wolverine holding a decapitated head dripping blood. "Well I never noticed!"
