The crease in the BC is a printers crease so can't be pressed out and is not penalized by CGC when grading books equal to or lower than 9.8.

1/4" tear that turns into a crease. Didn't notice the tear until just now....dang

Just downloaded the BC scan and zoomed in. That tear looks like it has been restored to me.

The 2 dimensional scan makes it look worse. I don't think it's glue....it kinda looks like something rubbed across it and thats what caused the tear. We have an OverStreet guy here in town...I'll ask him to take a look and definitely get it pre-screened before grading.

Too bad about the tear! And yes that printers crease will not factor on the grade as mentioned previously. Good luck with your submission!
