It has a slice that goes through the book. Cover is detached.

while detached covers are a big no-no for some collectors, I tend to agree with CGC that they can go as high as 4.0 depending on what other flaws there are.

Really? Wasn't aware the grade could be that high with a detached cover.

I wish I could hear how the book got the slice. The book is too thick for it to be scissors. Wonder how it happened.

I'll guess a harsh 2.0 for the slice (thru interior pages) and detachment. Sharp-looking book tho!
