Seems like 2 people fighting over 1 book that doesn't pop up for sale very often to me, but also shouldn't really command that kind of price.

But hey, I guess that means I should be looking out for more of them.

It's higher than I expected (I was hoping for $300), but, in hindsight, I guess I didn't really know what to expect. It's the first time this book has sold in 9.8 and is the only one currently available.

The next one graded/sold will be interesting.

That book could easily settle in at the $250-300 range, even with the additional copies that that sale will no doubt loosen up.

Two very important characters who also have rainbow connections.

It's a gut feeling thing but I wouldn't blink at $250 on that.

Yeah, to me $250-300 would have been a solid result.

Now if I could just get another Stormwatch 37, I'd be able to see what that would do on the open market. Stormwatch 37 is 5-10 times harder than this book, but isn't as "current." I really wonder what it would do right now. Hopefully I'll score another one one of these days :cloud9:

I have run across 3 raw SW37's in the past month & none of them are better than F/VF. It's like anything with less than 3 color breaking creases on the spine is a freaking unicorn. This book vexes me.

I'm sick. The best copy of SW #37 that I've ever owned was crunched, along with about 30 other books, by the USPS. Good luck to anyone trying to collect insurance on damaged books. The post office knows that their site for insurance claims doesn't work and after over 90 days, I'm still the owner of a bunch of near perfect conditioned comics...except for a corner on each. They must have dropped my books from an airplane and then kicked them for good measure. lol
