doubling in value since just 2013 on most grades. Interesting....... hm

Hmmmm the Action Comics #1 and Amazing Fantasy #15 of the Bronze Age is on fire!

Infinite Supply with an Infinite +1 amount of buyers.

What in your opinion is the #1 key of the Copper Age? (I do not think it is TMNT #1 BTW)

I actually can't think of anything other than TMNT 1. The fan base is incredibly large and growing thanks to continued media presence. Relative rarity (compared to IH 181) plus increasing demand, I honestly can't think of another contender. What's your pick?

TMNT1, no question

ASM 300

NM 98

Blow TMNT #1 out of the water.

Not talking about value.

Those books are are asked about 24/7....TMNT #1 is not.

See my last post.

TMNT #1 while is great book to own is still not as popular as NM 98 now and going forward. (Even ASM 300)

i wouldnt compare it to action comics, its definitely the amazing fantasy and incredible hulk 1 of the bronze age....

It's just more of saying that comparing to each specific book.

If someone asks you what is the AC #1 (aka most impotant) of the BA the answer is Hulk 181.

Something tells me that I am going to regret passing up on NM98 9.8 for $400 when I had the chance a couple of years ago.

Something tell me I am going to regret not owning a copy at the current prices in a few years from now.

I agree.

NM 98 will push up to 1k in CGC 9.8 in the not too distant future.

Big part of that is no one has TMNT1. ASM300 and NM98 are as easy to find as air.

ASM 300 is still very affordable for now but that will change as time goes on and the Black error copies of Venom # 1 Lethal Protector will also rise as time goes on. Its the $35 cent Star Wars #1 of the modern comics, very hard to find . Same goes for NM98. Though NM98 is not really hard to find.

In that case, what are the characteristics a book needs in order for it to be defined as the #1 key?

That has nothing do with what is a bigger key.

ASM 300 and NM 98 are bigger keys than TMNT #1.

Put those 3 books side by side and TMNT #1 is 3rd place for importance and asked about at shows.

I agree, I love TMNT #1 but for the masses NM98 is the clear winner and once this movie hits it's not going to look back.

Dammit - now I have to go buy some copies
