adamstrange
have to admit that i never really appreciated the DC war covers but this group is pretty awesome..................... No they're not, they're really, really boring. Like this one. Easy company prototype. Newsboy collection. Same as those Goldman Showcases. tth2
Easy company prototype. Newsboy collection. Same as those Goldman Showcases. Perhaps you should have purchased the Showcases and not the All-American Men of Wars. Nice book...
adamstrange
Easy company prototype. Newsboy collection. Same as those Goldman Showcases. Perhaps you should have purchased the Showcases and not the All-American Men of Wars. Nice book... I tried. He ran an "auction" shortly after he got them but decided not to sell then or since. I did call about other books in the catalog that first listed them, but I had never seen any of the war books to know enough to ask about them. I had to pick up my Newsboys subsequent to that. FFB
What is the story on the Newsboy collection? Also, just as an aside, those of us at my table at the forum dinner agreed that this is the best thread in the whole Silver Age forum. We also agreed that it hasn't seen nearly enough action lately. Perhaps the Newsboys should be known as the Allentown of the Silver Age--small, but extremely high quality. Besides the Showcases, were there any other keys in the collection? verygoodplus
I picked this up today, nice Kirby/Ayers cover. If you can overlook the chipping, it presents fairly well.
