Suspense 6, 1951

Head and shoulders above the other issues I posted, this one is obviously not from the Lunatic Lowgrade Guy collection.

THIS one is flat, square, glossy, with minor general wear and a tight spine and CF. Slightly miscut, there's a bit of white cover showing lower edge, and a whiff of wear along upper edge. White pages

I'm pretty solid at $100 for this one. AMENDED Adjusted to $80 for the tape pull

Mary Marvel 5, 1946

Rough cover with corners off and tape repairs, and the first few leaves have a piece out lower LH to boot, but nothing that touches the art,

My reading copy for a while, I recently upgraded.

Yours for $30

Nice eye appeal for a reading copy with browning pages (Still supple, no brittleness problems) and a piece of tape on the spine

Ooh, look! During the mad scrum with Baz last night, I missed a pretty good piece of snark! Well done, Crassus!

For your information, that pic was taken in 1998, and I'm pretty sure I actually bought those glasses in the late 1970's, lol

Alas, not for sale, the frames finally wore out a few years later and I now have modern glasses....that look VERY much like those.

My beloved has upgraded the Christmas Stick a couple times since then too, including dozens more vintage ornaments. Remind me next winter and I'll do my best to recreate that pose with the updated stick. Of course, my manly thatch of chest hair may be a bit grayer then the original pic...

...oh, and I promise to crop the new picture every bit as carefully as I did the first.

Sorry, no Early Bird Specials this AM, other things to do today

But I'll be back this evening by 8 PM, earlier if I can crush out of work on time.
