I haven't seen either of them in months, but if I remember what they looked like, I think both of them will come back 7.5 or 8.0.

Copied this from EXCEL. I did a 8.0 prescreen for books that I wanted graded anyways and a 9.2 prescreen. In addition, I had my EXPRESS CS coupon books and some moderns. I've put down my predictions only for the EXPRESS and moderns.

I bet you do better than 8.0 on the Luke Cage. My guess is 8.5, maybe 9.0. They won't hammer you too hard on that bindery tear. The spine really looks pretty clean and tight. Although I haven't actually held the books and looked at them I would say you'll do better on the LC than the Frankenstein. The Astonishing tales looks more 9.4 than 9.2. Of course I haven't seen the back covers on any of these. Is there anything we're missing? I saw a Marvel Team Up #1 9.2 that looked worse than that Luke Cage and they're very similar books with black covers. My Ghost Rider 9.0 looks pretty similar too.

I don't think the overhang is sufficient to keep CGC from slabbing it, but I've never had one rejected so we'll see?

60 were sent from NJ registered/insured mail. the other 45 were dropped off at the CGC tables in NYC and San Fran..............

 

probably only 3-4 weeks to go before they begin to trickle back.........

Thanks, using the prescreen option for most to avoid being charged until they get graded. I only had so many because I was holding off due to other bills. Now, at least I will have the chance to sell the bulk of them off before the bill becomes due. Would recommend it if you have over 50 books going in one tier. You can set an "easy" prescreen grade if you basically want everything graded.
